Helps prevent itching mosquito bites!!
I moved to the south a few years ago and my first summer here was a harsh reality of what mosquitos are capable of. I am one of those people who tends to get bitten by mosquitos more frequently than others. To make things worse, my immune system overreacts to the point that I couldn’t stop itching the bites. I used repellents and tried itch relief creams but nothing helped. As a result, I still bear a few scars of the largest bites I got from that summer on my legs. I decided to try Cerave itch cream because they advertise the itching is relieved in 2 minutes..It seemed too good to be true, so I wanted to see if it actually works. Our summer officially started two weeks ago and last week I got 12 mosquito bites all over my arms while gardening outside. The cream actually worked!!! Itching was relieved within 2 minutes. However, I had to apply the cream multiple times a day but I don’t mind because the bites are now healed and I have no scars! If you are like me who tends to attract all the mosquitos outside, I recommend CeraVe.

Really works!
This actually really works. Sure it takes a couple minutes for the itch to go away but it will. The only thing I’m not excited shot is that it leaves skin feeling a little greasy. But that’s OK I guess. I’d rather have that than itchy skin any day.

Stays put and works well
I don’t really like skin products with scents. Even when I do like them, my skin doesn’t. There is a very slight, almost medicinal smell to this lotion. But, it’s very doable. I don’t smell it throughout the day and/or night. I get itchiness on my back and have bug bites on other places. This stuff is thick. While some seems to absorb, the rest sort of forms a barrier. Which is fine, as it comes off well in the shower. Does the trick. I don’t find my self being kept up at night, because of itching.

CeraVe Anti-Itch Cream gives me long lasting relief.
I like how this product goes on easily. It isn’t greasy feeling, and is readily absorbed into the skin. It quiets the urge to scratch an itch just as soon this soothing lotion begins to penetrate a trouble spot. And I am pleased how long the anti-itch effect lasts. No tell-tale medicine scent either. I honestly have to give this all 5 stars.

This stuff really works
My facial skin itches in the dry winter, this took the itch away immediately. So then I started using it on my back. Same results.I put it on my face first, then a layer of sunscreen. It is amazing how quickly the itch is soothed. Very, very, pleased.

This cream has saved me.
I found this cream by accident, when I was ordering the regular moisturizer. I have unusually dry skin, and the regular moisturizer is wonderful but it didn’t stop the itching on my back and hips. Within ten minutes of applying, I stopped itching. It means I can relax and go to sleep, not suffer scratching when I’m out and around people and I’m doing it with a non-steroidal cream.

Works quickly but not as long as the jar says
I’ve been having some skin issues lately and everything makes me itchy. This lotion does a great job at stopping the itch quickly, but In my experience, it doesn’t last for 8 hours as stated on the jar(maybe 5 or 6 would be more accurate).

Beneficial, but not for stated purpose
This product did nothing to provide itch relief. Hydrocortisone and Benadryl tend to work better.I also find it curious that others have complained about how this doesn’t absorb, but I’ve had the opposite results. It has absorbed into my hands very quickly, about the fastest of any lotion or cream I have ever tried. That’s one of it’s biggest benefits.The thing that I have found with this is that if I apply it and then apply Cerave Daily Moisturizing cream over top, I get more results than just using the moisturizing cream.I’m marking this three stars because I just started using it last weekend, and I’m seeing some improvement.
