Good fiction by a bit pricy comparing to the other brand
I bought it for my baby. The only complain I have is that it is a bit pricing comparing to the other brands. The active ingredient is the same as the other products – Vaseline. I still prefer the other baby lotion product that Cerave has.

Love CeraVe
I love all CeraVe products and this is no exception. I use this as a protective coat for my daughter’s eczema and it helps keep the area hydrated and protected.

Not sealed.
Sadly I didn’t use this product because neither one of them were sealed. I sent one back to have another one sent to me unsealed. I read that it works real well but if it’s unsealed no I’m not going to use it. I know my A&d diaper ointment is sealed with the piece of silver thin tin..

Sensitive skin no more
My sister had kids before me and I got all the ointments that worked for her. None of them worked for my baby. There’s this one in bright red packaging. It made his butt that red. The doctor gave us a sample of this now it’s all I’ll use. It’s also good for chapped skin and overall moisture. Paired with the tush swiper it’s a win. You do have to really squeeze the bottle to get it out as it’s thick but that doesn’t bother me.

Only ointment we use for my son’s bum!
This is the only ointment that has worked to keep my son’s sensitive bum in tip top condition. We have used Burt’s Bees, Honest, etc. All are crap. A&D was great, but harder to spread. This one was perfect. Easy to spread and use, neutral smell, keep the skin in nice condition. Once a bit of redness sets in, we immediately switch to a zinc-based product. Desitin is what we use. When my son was at daycare, he would get diaper rash more frequently. He was very sensitive to sitting on soiled diapers. This helped avoid the rash while Desitin cured it. We love this product and we’re on our 4th bottle!

The best
It’s the best! I use all cereve products for my own skincare and have a munchkin with sensitive skin too. We use this for diaper rash and it’s gone super quick! We also used it briefly after her cord fell off and around her belly was a little dry. I’ve put it on her face when she’s a little dry too!

Perfect for adults who hate fragrance
I hate fragrance and I live in a cold place where my skin gets super chapped with the weather, so this stuff is a perfect alternative to petroleum jelly. It adds more oomph with the ceramides, is easy to put in my bag, and it smells like NOTHING. Love it.

Better than aquafor
My baby has severe eczema, and I have to keep his skin verrrrrry moisturized. I was using aquafor but decided to give this a shot since the aquafor was a pain to spread over the skin. This one is way easier to spread, it’s a little greasy but not in a bad way. I usually put it over CeraVe moisturizing baby cream. This has not cured the eczema by any means, but it helps keep the skin from becoming more dry. It’s also awesome for diaper rash. Tiny tube though, aquafor is cheaper and comes in a huge tube.

Our new favorite
My daughter had an extremely sensitive bum. She gets rashes so easily, especially if she eats any fruit…which is sad, because it’s her favorite thing to eat. This cream has been the best we’ve tried. Not only does it heal rashes quickly, it helps protect her bottom from them as well.

Fantastic
I bought this for myself because I just started a prescription retinol and I needed a barrier for around my nose to stop sensitivity and peeling. This works great. I use a cotton swab to apply it around my nose. This will also be great on my kids faces for the winter when they go outside to play. It’ll protect from harsh weather and windburn. This is great for any kind of skin irritation or prevention. I’ve been applying it throughout the day since my allergies are making my nose run non-stop. So far, my nose isn’t red from using tissues so often. I love this stuff.

Great Product – Don’t Buy It!
I love this product. I use it on my lips, eyes, and hands. BUT you can buy the CeraVe Healing Ointment (non baby version) and it’s the exact same product in a larger container for a better unit price! Literally the ingredient list is exactly the same.

Disappointed
This product was delivered at lightning speed. The packaging was good, however, there was not any protective film on the product itself. You know, the one that seals under the cap to prevent tampering, etc. I did test it on a good area of my skin and nothing bad has happened yet. I will test a different area tomorrow and then use on the intended area if all is good.

CERAVEEE!!!!
I recommend Cerave to everyone of all ages. I use the facial cleaner, eye cream and facial lotion and my 11 month old uses the body wash and lotion and diaper rash ointment. He had a lot of dry spots on his back and stomach and his pediatrician gave samples of cerave and before I even ran out of them I ordered it on here.

Best for any diaper rash
This is amazing. When I mentioned that this was the diaper rash product I had chosen to our pediatrician he informed me that this is the same base they use for more intense medicated diaper rash ointments and is what he would recommend to have on hand!

Protection without sticky residue!
We love this product for our baby’s bum. It leaves a protective, soothing barrier, but isn’t thick and sticky. There’s no white residue left behind like other diaper creams/ointments. There’s no fragrance to potentially irritate baby’s skin which is a huge plus. CeraVe products are tried and true!

Perfect for diaper rash for babies. Easy to apply.
CeraVe Diaper Rash Cream has been a saving grace for my little one’s sensitive skin. Its gentle yet effective formula works wonders in healing and preventing diaper rash. I appreciate its non-greasy texture that glides on smoothly and forms a protective barrier, providing relief to irritated skin. What sets this ointment apart is its blend of ceramides and hyaluronic acid, which not only soothe but also nourish and hydrate the delicate baby skin. It’s become a staple in our diaper changing routine, offering comfort and care when needed the most. Highly recommended for parents seeking a reliable diaper rash solution.

Cerave cream
So I wish I found this stuff sooner! We love this for our sensitive skin kiddo. Works on rashes, on her eczema, as a moisturizer in a pinch if you needed one. I assumed with the first bottle I bought that I wouldn’t need another for quite some time and I have 2 now bc we love it so much. Its similar in consistency to vaseline but I like it. Its not quite as thick. No scent at all or dyes

Baby had really bad rash/eczema
Baby had bad eczema on her face and even thought she had cradles cap but put this on her after her bath at night and in the morning her skin was plump and soft again. Everyone her skin started to get dry I just put this on and it heals up quickly. I also use it for my babies with diaper rash and it’s better than any sticky messy diaper creams out there.

Not great for treating diaper rash
I was disappointed with this diaper rash cream and it’s surprising to me because I usually like CeraVe products. My one year old son has sensitive skin. I can only use a couple brands of diapers and wipes with him because everything else gives him diaper rashes. I order them online but due to the pandemic both brands are sold out. The stores where I live have a very limited choice of baby wipes right now, people are going crazy buying them so my son keeps getting the rash. I always have several products to treat it on hand but a couple weeks ago I couldn’t get his rash to clear up so I ordered the ceraVe. It didn’t help clear my son’s rash at all and it didn’t want to wash off so I could use another cream, it left a residue behind. His rash got worse and I wound up calling my son’s pediatrician for a prescription. Which, by the way, our insurance didn’t cover and it cost $150. The cream has a consistancy similar to Vaseline so I think it could help prevent diaper rash but not to treat it.

This product is a must for skin injury
I loved the product because it was very easy on my skin, non irritating at all and I have a very bad skin disease in which I get wounds that look like I have been burned in a fire and it makes holes in my skin and the tissue, and I used this product diluted with my medicated cream and it helps me heal. Good example in the picture I included, I had one on the front of my leg and as you can see it is healed 😀

Amazing
My daughter had a really bad rash on her cheeks and I’ve tried everything to get rid of it. Even what the pediatrician recommended and nothing worked. I searched this product up after seeing ads for it on FB and then I read some good reviews and decided to give it a try. When I tell you this stuff is amazing it really is and it’s not pricy. Her cheeks cleared up in two days. Now she has a rash on her forehead which I started using this for it yesterday and it’s half way clear. I want to try the other products from this brand

It’s a Little Weird at First, But….
I received the ointment as part of a trial pack that I originally purchased from a store. It isn’t something that I would have just picked up because I’m a sucker for good marketing and this stuff looks pretty plain on the outside. We’ve never had a diaper rash issue, but we did start to have an issue around my baby’s circumcision area about 2 months after we brought him home. Vaseline made no difference. The doctor said that wasn’t uncommon and just keep A&D ointment on it. That was “ok” and did seem to help a little. When I first opened this ointment I was skeptical. The tube was a little hard to squeeze and the paraffin in it was abundantly obvious because the first thing I thought of was softened candle wax. That’s the consistency. Once it’s warmed against the skin it does soak in, but it’s a little hard to spread on initially. We just sort of glopped it on to the area. There is absolutely no scent. After a few days of using it (with occasionally alternating with the A&D) there was definitely a vast improvement in the skin condition. Therefore, the company got my business. I’m very happy with this product.

Very Healing
This ointment heals skin, it’s better than the other “A” ointment because of the ceramides it contains. It melts into the skin and doesn’t just sit on top. I used it on my surgical incision once the stitches came out and the skin wasn’t raw and my doctor was very pleased with how well it healed. Highly recommend!

Amazing Stuff!
My son has tried Desitin Butt Paste, Aquaphor and a host of other wastes of time & money on my granddaughter, and this is the only stuff that works! It’s kinda stiff in the tube and when it comes out, but just knead the tube, put a little on your fingers and work it around, and your own body heat will make it the correct consistency to apply to the area evenly, and a little dab will do ya! It doesn’t take a lot. If it’s yeast instead of plain old diaper rash, if your pediatrician prescribes Nystatin cream, just apply it, let it soak in a few seconds, then apply an outer layer of CeraVe ointment over top of the Nystatin layer. It doesn’t react badly together, and it heals the yeast faster. We love this stuff around here. It heals and works as a preventative.

We use a ton of Aquaphor in our house, …
We use a ton of Aquaphor in our house, so much that we buy the big tubs of it. I have two kids in diapers and one with eczema. That being said this product is very similar to Aquaphor. The active ingredient in CeraVe Baby Healing Ointment is Petrolatum 46.5%. The active ingredient in Aquaphor is Petrolatum 41%. Aquaphor has 6 inactive ingredients. The CeraVe Baby Healing Ointment has 18.Initial impression is that the CeraVe product comes out of the container feeling almost identical to Aquaphor but once you apply it it softens and becomes less thick. The Aquaphor you can really slather it on layer on top of layer and it’s not going anywhere. This CeraVe product seems to soften and absorb into the skin more.I am not a scientist or overly familiar with these ingredients by any means but my guess for this difference is that this CeraVe product contains Ceramides. Ceramide-1, Ceramide-3 and Ceramide 6-II specifically. Ceramides are part of our skin’s natural barrier and dry, irritated skin or eczema afflicted skin is often lacking in Ceramides. So while Aquaphor functions as a very efficient moisture barrier, this CeraVe product, with it’s ceramides, should actually be working to restore the function of the skin.I think we will continue to use the Aquaphor for a diaper ointment (because a barrier to prevent urine on their skin is my goal there) but I have switched to this product for my daughter’s eczema. It is hard to really gauge eczema especially in these dry winter months when it can really flare up, but this works well for us.

heal baby butts and bigger butts, legs and arms
In my household, we always have a brand of baby ointment that is white and just difficult to wash off hands. My husband uses this. No, he doesn’t wear a diaper. He is just a guy with a poor diet who uses the toilet a lot and sometimes gets chafed. Also from walking without long pants or long shorts. This is much easier to work with and seems to absorb better and the fact that it isn’t bright white is a plus. I also use this on my scaly portions of skin on my arms. It reminds me very much of petroleum jelly, which I use when needed on my hands, feet and lips. This has petrolatum in it also, as well as 3 kinds of ceramides, mineral oil, paraffin and a few other ingredients. This not only heals rashes and chafing but it also protects the skin. Incidentally, it is also accepted by the National Eczema Association. It is eczema that creates my scales and dry skin areas that I am using it on for me. I don’t think this 3 ounce container will last long in this household.
