CeraVe does it again!
This is the hand cream you have been looking for. It’s light, no sticky feeling, and has no scent at all. I have a bottle on my desk at work, one in my purse, one at home, and another in my gym bag. People at work seek me out to “borrow” some regularly. It has completely reversed my cracked cuticles and dry heels of my hands. 5 gold stars.

unscented, non-greasy
I work in the health care field so bought this to keep my hands from getting chapped and cracked. It is non-scented and not greasy. It doesn’t feel incredibly moisturizing but it does feel like it keeps my hands protected from repetitive hand washing and hand sanitizing. Would recommend.

Unscented and not greasy
I’ve searched for hand lotion for a long time. Could never seem to find the perfect lotion for me. I tried this lotion and I love it. It immediately soaks into your skin. Not greasy, and it’s unscented. Non of that slimy feeling you sometimes get from lotion. Also, when you need to wash your hands after applying the lotion, it leaves a small coating (layer) on your hands for that little extra protection after using soap and water which really surprised me and I love that little extra touch. The lotion tube is smaller then I expected but I set up a subscription. Lotion is a personal choice and I found mine

More of a lotion
Did I get a bad tube or is this the thinnest ‘cream’ ever? There is a distinction between the 2 but not evidently at CeraVe, a company I’ve always respected for it’s facial moisturizers. This sadly misses the mark. It’s not a ‘cream’ at all but a lotion. It does contain dimethicone, at least, but it’s base emollients are too thin to really help and it seems to separate (can’t confirm as the tube is opaque) as clear contents (water and dimethicone) are the first thing to come out of the tube. So remember to shake it well. Overall kind of a weird experience. Since I have excema on my hands I’ll use this as a body lotion and buy an actual hand CREAM like L’Occitane’s. You get what you pay for I guess.

NOT a hand cream!
I use many CeraVe products but the Therapeutic Hand Cream is the worst. Firstly, it is not a cream; it’s a lotion and should be advertised as such. I began to apply the “cream” to my hands and to my dismay, the liquid spilled all over my new pants. Secondly, the active ingredient is Dimethicone. What is the percentage of hyaluronic acid? Thirdly, the scent is offensive and exacerbates my allergies. If you’re looking for a product with a higher amount of hyaluronic acid, I recommend Ceramic Ve Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Cream which contains their highest amount of hyaluronic acid. If you are in need of a good hand cream, try Salcoll Collagen hand cream. It’s made in EU and the best I’ve found.

Love the texture

Cleared up dry cracks
First I’m not a lotion fan at all. I don’t like the feel of grease on my hands. My hand this year start cracking and was causing pain so I decided to try this and it’s the best I have ever used. It still has a “grease” but it’s a dry grease if that makes any sense. I still don’t use it everyday but it’s great. I’d buy again.

Good for dry hand!
Typically, I experience dry hands, but this hand cream help with it. The only minor thing is that it leaves a slightly tacky or sticky sensation on the hands initially, although it goes away quickly. CereVe never fails!

Works ok but not great
I bought this hoping that it would take care of my dry itchy winter hands. It works for a little while, but once I washed my hands, it seemed to lose its moisturizing power. I will use it because something is better than nothing at all. I will keep hunting for something richer and longer lasting.

Can’t believe I am writing a review on lotion. But figure other folks may benefit. I was using Eucerin while it works it felt like something’s on my skin like a film also took ALOT longer to dry after applying, this CeraVe sinks into the skin instantly with NO greasy feel, skin is nourished deep down instead of a slippery film on top. This maybe the best hand cream I have ever tried and the best part – no smells whatsoever!!!

So I used Pro-Active for almost three months (left a review) unfortunately did not get the results I was hoping for.I began to think maybe it was an age thing or hormonal issue so I did some searching and found this item. I read some of the reviews and figured I would give it a shot.Now when I got it-the directions say only a dime size start out once if sensitive skin but I started out twice a day.And right after the first time my face was amazingly smooth it felt like a day of grime had been washed away. It does say you can do it 3x a day and that’s what I do… but so far I’m having great results and it’s been almost a week?And the bottle is pretty big for the application of only using a dime size and yes only a dime because it does create a lot of wash!So over all so far: great product, price, and quality

Works well
I work with food, so hand washing is constant. During the colder months my knuckles will Crack and bleed they get so dry. This stuff works so incredibly well that it only takes 1 application a day to stop that. And only 1-2 a day if my hands get dry enough that my knuckles do that. Also it doesn’t sting if my hands are irritated.

I find this hand moisturizer works well in the winter time when my skin tends to be dryer. However, I’m used to buying a hand lotion in 8 oz sizes and for this price I would expect that amount.

I found this hand cream to be exactly what I was looking for. It was not greasy and it dissolved into my skin VERY quickly. It also made the skin on my hands look healthier. Love it! The only thing that would make it better would be to add an SPF.

I just got this yesterday. It is not thick and creamy like a cream would be even though it is called a cream. It is thinner like lotion. It is not greasy once you rub it in, but what I don’t like is the feel when I wash my hands. As soon as I put my hands under running water, you can see the water bead up on my skin which is a protective measure, but even using hand soap my hands feel tacky sticky until I wash them a couple times and then dry them good. It has helped reduce the inflammatory redness, but I still have dry cracked hands and cuticles. I’ll give it some more time and see what happens, but because of the tacky feeling in water, I don’t think I’d buy it again.

Best hand cream for dry hands
The back of my hands went hands went from dry and rough (like sand paper) to soft and hydrated after only a day or two of using it once or twice a day. I don’t love the smell, but it is light and I don’t notice it once it’s on. I only apply it a couple times a day, but washing my hands a few times in between doesn’t seem to impact its effectiveness.

Awesome for the price!
I have been using this for a few months now and can attest that this hand cream works! My hands are equivalent to coal miner hands and I have a hard time keeping them from peeling and my cuticles from ripping. After I started using this I could definitely see an improvement. Its not a miracle lotion–you have to use it in order for it to work. But if you do it will improve the dryness. This absorbs fast and is not greasy and smells as I expect lotion to smell. This is not designer or super perfumy, this is a working woman’s lotion! It works better than what I thought it would based on the price! I leave a bottle at home and at work!

No more superglue!
I am a mechanic. I have chronically dry skin on my hands due to frequent washing, chemical exposure, and of course the rough nature of the job I perform. It gets particularly bad during the winter months.I get “splits” in the skin of my fingertips all the time, and they are excruciating as I work. These breaks in the skin are tiny and usually right at the edge of the fingernail. They are excruciating, and I HAVE to work with my fingers….so for years I have remedied the “splits” by using superglue and sometimes fingertip bandages so I could get through my work with less pain.I’ve tried all types of hand creams, salves, ointments, fairy-dusts…….nothing even came close to helping.A physician recommended this hand cream to me and OMG does it work! It really, really, really improves the quality of my skin and I seldom get cracked fingertips anymore. I keep a tube by the sink, by my bed, in my van, and by my laptop. It’s been a game-changing discovery and my quality of life is sooooo much better without the pain of split fingers!It’s not at all greasy and does not impede my grip, or make surfaces messy. Has almost no aroma, and a tube lasts me a good amount of time.I can’t see myself ever not buying this and I doubt you will regret it if you make this purchase.This is the VERY BEST hand cream available and a great solution for my issue.

Great for hands
I have really dry hands and was looking for something that would help moisturize them since my regular body moisturizer didn’t work. This works great on my hands. I gave the scent a medium score, not because it smells bad, but because it doesn’t have any scent. That’s not a bad thing. It also absorbs quickly. I have two, one in the kitchen so I can use it after doing dishes or coming in from the cold, and one in the bathroom so I can put it on before bed.

This product is fricken amazing.Background story/review: So, I have dyshidrotic eczema on my fingers which basically means my fingers blister and is very itchy all of the time. Obvi I have scratch the living crap out of my hand until it’s bleeding and sad. AND on top of that, it’s roni szn so I’m washing my hands like crazy (aka it’s dry as a mf). If you are suffering like I was, this product will give you life.I’ve tried probably every non-scented hand cream in the market. I’m talkin bout Nivea, Kiehls, Eucerin and Aveeno. I found those creams way too watery or too greasy. THEN, I fricken bought the CeraVe hand cream. My eczema? CURED. I wish I could attach my before and after pics bc you will 100% buy this hand cream if you saw it. It has niacinamide which helps strengthen weakened skin. It has ceramides which helps prevent dryness/irritation AND creates a barrier for your skin (aka we buildin a new layer of healthy skin, baby). And lastly, it has hyaluronic acid which increases moisture in your skin AND treat burns and damage. AMAZING.What to expect: Your quality of life will improve. My honest initial reaction was “wow, I just wasted money bc this is so watery aka I’m gonna have to reapply a million times an hour,” but then I rubbed my hands together and it somehow thickened up without annoying me with grease. I do have to reapply every other hour but whatever I’d do that in a heartbeat if it will take away my eczema. Amazing. Just amazing.

Still looking for that holy grail
My daughter and I have really bad dry and cracked hands. We wash them too much! They sometimes even bleed. I used to get this awesome lotion that is no longer available and when I searched for comparable lotions this one popped up. It is a good non-greasy lotion but does not really give the same moisture feeling than others. The upside is that it is decent and that it is not priced ridiculously. If you have bad hands I would look for something a bit more inclusive, if your hands are just a little dry, this should do the trick.

Disappointed for this brand 🙁
I love CeraVe products and use their moisturizing cream for my whole body. I have extremely dry hands and had high hopes this would be an even more intense lotion. I was sadly disappointed. It feels thin and not extremely moisturizing, which is surprising considering the ingredients. If you have regular level dryness it would probably be great. But if you are like me and have eczema level dryness and painful cuticles, try something richer.

My hands were pretty much useless until I used this
I have been buying every hand lotion I could find with high hopes of them working, but none of them worked as well as this one, Cereve Therapeutic Hand Cream.I am a nurse and my hands and fingers would get so sore from constantly washing them. I would get deep painful cracks on my fingeretips to the point where I would want to cry. Who would think that cracks at your fingertips would be so painful? I tried taping cotton to help pad them but that lasted until I had to wash my hands again, I tried silicone finger guards, they worked for a minute, they would fall off and get lost and gloves would pull them off, I resorted to super glue, oddly enough it helped the best. I read a review that said this was a miracle on dry, sore, hands so I tried it. My hands and cracks on my fingers starting healing after the first use, I have used it every night for about 7 days and the cracks in my fingers are almost gone, thank you for making this product 👏

My hands are very dry. I put this on at night and it has been helping. Only been using it for about a week and it has already made a difference. I like that it is basically unscented because a lot of hand creams can be so strong.It is a cream and not a lotion and is not greasy. It absorbs very well. I will be buying more.
