Love the knob.
You just can’t beat it if you’re always switching in-between genres. Able to adjust the gain from the driver seat. I just can’t seem to love without it. Especially when you just want no bass, to just THUMPING.

A much needed option
Pricey but needed. Controls the amount volume as needed. I use this every drive. Cant see having a subwoofer without it. This should come with all kicker amps.

Feels pretty sturdy and of high quality
Feels pretty sturdy and of high quality. The knob turns pretty far… which makes it great for fine tuning. I didn’t want to drill my dash so I used an adhesive pad instead and it’s held up well. Also a great addition if you don’t want your neighbors to call the cops. Works with my Kicker CX amp well.

Works but bad mounts
I went to screw in the first side and the screw chewed right through the plastic. Probably my fault there but I didn’t really tighten it that much with the screw gun and it made a huge hole in the underside. Works great . But cheap plastic they don’t make anything outta metal these days, but they could have put inserts or something better than that cheapo Chinese plastic for mounting the friggin thing

Works for Kicker Key 500.1
Works great. I ran mine halfway next to to power supply with no issues. Program this specific amp Kicker Key 500.1 separately and complete setup. Then plug in the bass knob. This will be similar to half way on the knob. I tried it both ways and this was best for me.

Excellent and simple
This was super easy to install. Just put the knob where you want it, then route the wire to your amp. Plug it in and you’re done! Works like a champ! I love being able to control the sub volume in real time, as every tune has varying degrees of bass material and strengths. The knob makes it an easy fix for tunes that require more bass, or as an attenuator for tunes that have bass in abundance. Great buy!!

Control at your fingertips
I love that I can control my amp easily. Listening to different songs can be fun yet frustrating. Your favorite song come on but you want more bass well with this knob you can have it, or maybe you want less bass you can have it at your fingertips with this knob.

Dead on arrival
The knob in the kit I got didn’t work at all. Luckily the installer had a spare knob he let me have for free.Would have returned it but he used the wires from the kit and threw away the box.

Does exactly what I wanted!
I canโt speak to ease of install as I paid a pro to do my whole stereo install. Iโm using this knob with a Kicker CXA400.1. I was hoping that, as I have a 4 year old, I would be able to use it to cut enough bass out with my daughter in the car while being able to easily crank up the bass to the max when alone in the car. Done and done! At the minimal setting on the knob, I have virtually no bass. At the highest setting, I canโt even see out of my rear view mirror due to the bass output! Of course, your mileage may vary based on your stereo setup, but for mine, this was exactly what I wanted! I really like that the knob โclicksโ when turned vs turning freely as I can feel exactly where the setting is at when using it. Sure, some say a knob isnโt needed if your gain is set correctly. For those of us with kids though (or a crabby spouse who doesnโt appreciate a good bass pounding), this was the perfect solution! Very pleased.

Complete flop
I Installed it correctly. Re-wired my whole Jeep from the hodgepodge of random manufacturers, and put all kicker speakers and amps in. Even at full output highest setting barely any bass output, tried a different aux cable still no bass. Adjusted settings and got somewhat good but not great bass. Also using with a kicker 400.1 amp. Amp fine without the knob plugged in and playing with the EQ settings it works great, but will have to manually adjust bass per song. But won’t be purchasing again

Need Dual 1
This is one of those things that need a dual input or the ability to control 2 amps at once, the price seems a bit much for just a single rheostat with plastic on it with a small circuit board an connector.The 3.5 plug cable is long enough for most installs. If I knew the ฮฉ of the rheostat I would make my own Dual RBK.And yes almost any 3.5 Plug wire with 3 sections will work, I am using shorter ones.

Highly recommended
I like the size of it cause it gives you so much mobility in where to have it installed. Works like a charm and helps for those songs that make your eyes reverberate so you can turn it down and everything is okay. Also good to have so that you don’t disturb your neighbors if it’s early in the morning or late at night.

“DO NOT BUY” UPDATE
I should’ve listened to the other reviews but I insisted nothing would happened but it stopped.working 3 days after installing. Way too .expensive for how .poor the quality is.UPDATE 6/4/22it works just fine as it should. For some odd reason it just randomly started working when I went to try it again I’d say it’s the cable or the amp being funky. Update to 5 stars because it does what it’s meant to do.

Plug & Play Must Have Accesory
I figured I didn’t need this product having an aftermarket radio with several EQ and a custom EQ option among EQ settings on several music apps. Boy was I wrong!!! Do yourself a favor and purchase this accesory that should have already been included IMO. Without it, the bass was either too LOUD or too LOW, no in between. Was a pain, didn’t seem like my investment was a plus. Now that I have this installed I can actually turn my door speakers up with just the right amount of bass. Can confidently say my upgrades were a good investment. Paired it with a Kicker CXA600.1 amo & 2 12 Kicker CompR subs. It’s plug and play so you will be able to install it yourself. Plug it to amp, tuck it under panels/carpet to the front on your dash.

Great addition to my system
Love this piece. I’ve had systems in the past and I’d always have to adjust my bass volume control from the amp. With this control knob I can do it from the driver’s seat and don’t have to get out and mess with my amp to adjust it for certain kinds of music.

Product doesn’t work the day it came 10 days late
Not only was I waiting for this product after delayed 10 days later it didn’t work and when I called the service tech at kicker he said a batch of bad ones where the soldering in the knob wasn’t correctly done I asked why are you selling he said that’s how they eliminate the bad ones they can’t pull them so I guess it’s not the person’s fault that’s selling them its the kicker manufacturer so I have a replacement coming at the end of the month but when you go to purchase one it says overnight so why do I have to wait until the end of the month smfh never again

Perfect addition to your kicker amp.
It’s a kicker bass knob, plain and simple. Plugs in and allows you to control how hard your subs hit. I mounted in my car with some double sided tape and it works great.

Awesome combo for the price
Pros; The 12″ sub box was a custom fit for the complex under back seat design of the 2023 Silverado. High quality sub box with face down sub openings. Awesome bass from 12″ Kicker subs. great Kicker amp. The bass boost knob is a must and works great.Cons; I took the combo to Best Buy to get installed. They said the aluminum wiring that comes with this set is no good. I had to buy a copper set. The amp that comes with the set provides more power than the subs were rated for. Since I did not want to buy another amp, the Best Buy tech adjusted the power gain down (or some thing like that) so it would not harm the subs. Just something you should be aware of. Best Buy did an amazing install ata great price (well worth it) and I highly recommend them. They also installed the Bass Boost knob within reach so I can change it on the fly when switching to news or musics sources.

A great knob for your bass control.
Installed it new for my 2016 Fiesta ST. I bought it to control my bass since itโs a small hatchback and for instant control of certain music my friends and I listen to. Wire was plenty for my install location and simple plug and play. If your curios on how I managed to place it like the way it is in the image: remove panels in the shift column area and some of the AC control panels. Remove the small cubby and make a hole on the driver side back portion to run wire (previos owner and dealer made a massive hole in the rear thatโs why I chose that spot). Pre mount it in the inside portion and get a idea of the bracket holes. Trace bracket onto a piece of cardboard with knob portion facing to the rear of the vehicle. Drill from the top into the inside of the cubby after finding your preferred location with the cardboard mock up. I used a small zip tie to secure it and it works as long as you donโt pull it towards you when driving.
