Everything showed up on time and only one mug was broken by the carrier! I’m so excited and set up my dishes already. They where packed so well and handled the dish washer beautifully! I will buy from this company again and again, besides who needs an obscene amount of coffee cups lol I already have 50!

Product has a sleek appearance. All dishwater appears to be fairly uniform. Only downside to this product is the lips on the side of the plate are a little “short”. When scooping food onto your utensils it seems it’s easier to push it off the plate.

This is my 2nd set. I absolutely love this set. After a while you do see scratches but I think that should be expected. The quality is good and they look expensive

The reviews almost prevented me from buying this set in black but I am happy I gave it a chance! I am in loveeeee with this set. The black is matte and bold and beautiful. I love the size of the plates and the bowls. The mugs are a good size as well the handles are just a little small so don’t expect to fit more than 2 fingers through to hold the handle.
They are modern and stylish and whenever I use them for company I’m always asked where they’re from and if they were expensive because they look and feel great quality
Dishwasher safe. The color doesn’t fade and I never get water spots. They are a heavy stone ceramic and go super well with an industrial/modern farmhouse feel decor

I’m glad we inspected this wedding gift early. Like so many products these days, this dinnerware set was not packaged for the age of online shipping, much less to survive the current trend of using cheaper and less protective packaging. Each group of dinnerware (plates, mugs, bowls, saucers) came in a box, all inside a larger box. And while the boxes themselves weren’t overly thin, there was no cushioning whatsoever. Even a thin metal pan baking set that we recently bought on amazon for a fraction of the price, came with each pan individually wrapped in bubble-wrap. So, how Stone Lain thought they could get away with not providing any padding between such heavy stoneware… I can only assume it was a calculated risk at their expense (and their customers inconvenience), as their site is already well set up to handle replacement requests, and they were very quick to do so when ours arrived with a scratched plate and cracked and leaking mug. It probably would have been a lot worse if amazon hadn’t delivered it themselves.
As for the product itself, it seems like something that will last for generations, if they’re not dropped on a hard floor. Or at least until my niece gets to an age where she appreciates something that takes less cabinet space and isn’t so heavy. But, they do seem made tough. Though, the finish will scratch and like hand-made products, these do suffer from some uniformity inconsistencies: Some plates are slightly smaller or not quite perfectly flat, so that they won’t stably stack. I would presume such to be innate to the curing process, so using a rack that stands the plates vertically may prove the better option for storage out of necessity in addition to the increased utility.
I also have a hard time understanding the steep difference in price just between different colors, when all are sold by amazon itself, not different vendors, and there is no unique patterning or anything, just plain solid colors. Fortunately, my niece wanted black, which was the most affordably priced, by a large margin.
I would recommend the company, as I found them very responsive, friendly, and quick to get support from, even if you should probably expect some damaged pieces due to packaging inadequate for shipping. As for the product: if you love the style, it should prove easy to forgive any shortcomings and seems like it should last a long, long time.

These are a great gift for family, the appearance is just exactly how explained, and they last quite a long time. I haven’t had any issues with them at all, they’re super easy to clean, heavy, and pretty thick.

I bought these for my mom for a present and regret not getting them for myself as well.She uses them daily and they are still in amazing condition. Entire package was intact at time of delivery and no plates were cracked which is amazing because they are stone. Washes really easy, any grease falls off with a bit of soap unlike some other dishes where you have to scrub. Look beautiful even when stacked in the closet. Definitely is the finishing touch for any dish you make. Looks ten times prettier on modern dishes as such. I would just say that it does heat up pretty easily due to it being stone so proceed with a bit of caution if something is really hot (not much, but you definitely feel some heat) otherwise its great product and i look forward to buying another set.
