Broken container
Unfortunately this came to me cracked. The lotion was all over the box. It was not cheap lotion and I’ve never had this issue before so this was pretty disappointing. It appears the top is cracked and the lotion just came out of it. Over half the lotion was in the bottom of the box.UPDATE!Company replaced the broken one with a new one that came undamaged. My son used this on his face and it cleared right up in 4 days. He has mild psoriasis that leaves his skin red, flakey, and scab looking and this was 100% worth it and worked GREAT.

I liked the consistency of the lotion because it wasn’t sicky and it was absorbed right away. The pump was okay just wondering how I will get the rest of the cream out once it’s too low for the pump. Guess I’ll be scooping it out. Don’t think I’ll reorder.

Poor shipping procedure and no recourse
Product is good, but not as good as the regular CeraVe even though it is for my psoriasis. However, the shipping was an issue. They tried to tape it closed, and they shipped medicated ointment with mushroom powder. During shipping, one popped open and almost half of the material in the one small container of moisturizer was all over the inside of the package, on the two containers of CeraVe and all over the mushroom powder. Had to throw it out because it smelled and tasted weird because of the contamination by the CeraVe. Tried to report it and get refunded – chatted with someone who said it would be refunded, but it never occurred. Will NOT ever purchase again.

Better than a prescription!
I have been dealing with psoriasis since I was a child and it was pretty manageable most of my life until I got pregnant and it started to spread everywhere. For a couple of years I just covered it up and then when I got pregnant again, it got even worse! I’m talking all over my stomach, back, arms, gross! During that pregnancy, I decided not to do anything about it because I didn’t want to have a reaction. In between both, I was prescribed a skin cream that didn’t do anything and so I didn’t really care to try anything else while pregnant.Then on Easter Sunday, my aunt made a comment about my skin and I thought, ok, this is bad! I just bought this and the cleanser on a whim because I love CeraVe and it isn’t overly expensive. The last cream I used was $60!!!!! You guys- my skin has not looked like this since before I had kids, my psoriasis is gone! And it’s been like 2 weeks! My only with is that I would have bought it sooner! If your psoriasis is out of control use this stuff- DAILY! It is the best I’ve found!

Great moisturizer and I use it every night
I love this lotion. It’s thicker than others and it goes on better.My one complaint is the container. This shipment arrived safely but many times the top comes off and makes a mess. There are not enough threads inside the screw on lid. The lid doesn’t attach tightly. The shippers applied tape and it worked!

Still leaked Eve with tape
While the product had a “protective” tape to avoid leakage, the cap was not secure enough and product still leaked out in transit. While it was a small amount, it made the container a mess that I had to clean up and a waste of some of the product. Just make sure the cap is on tight in addition to the tape.

This product…really works!
I have had psoriasis for almost 20 years and it is fairly mild, but I do get bad flareups on my hands and elbows that can be very itchy and uncomfortable, especially when there are weather changes. I have tried every over the counter lotion in existence. I have even underwent 3 clinical trials in the last 2 years with 3 different experimental products in an effort to find some kind of relief. Nothing really worked and it was frustrating and disappointing.I decided to take a chance on this product and I can honestly say that I have never used ANY lotion, cream or ointment that is as effective as this one! (Even other Cerave products which I have used too with so-so results)I don’t know to describe it other than saying: IT JUST WORKS! Within the first 2-3 days of using it I saw improvement in my afflicted areas – some of which I have had issues with for a long time (redness, itchiness, scaling, etc) and several areas where I had started to get fissures. But what impressed me the most was that I had a small patch on my foot which started scaling about 6 months and sooooo itchy. I applied lotion every day but it was terribly uncomfortable. I applied this and in less than a week, the patch is COMPLETELY GONE. No redness at all – like there was never anything there.If you are reading this you probably have psoriasis so you know how difficult it can be to manage. You may be in the same position where you have tried everything and nothing else seemed to work. I highly recommend trying this – it is a little more expensive than average lotion but it is most definitely worth it!

Seems to help with my persistent itchy ears
I’ve been suffering from chronic itchiness in my mid/outer ear for at least 2-3 years now, and have tried just about everything out there in hopes of a cure. To date, the only things that seem to work at all are hydrocortisone — and you really don’t want to use that stuff long-term — and to some extent, that “ear oil” made for this purpose. But that can be messy and doesn’t always do the trick. I recently bought this CeraVe out of a process of elimination leading me to suspect the condition in my ear (never correctly diagnosed by physicians) might be closer to psoriasis than anything — as I do get a lot of what appears to be skin flaking from the middle ear. After a few days of carefully but liberally swabbing the area with this stuff, once each in the morning and night, I am noticing quite a substantial improvement already. I am naturally not quick to assume it’s cured and done, but for now it seems better, and the frequency of flareups has been noticeably lower — as in going from almost every day to maybe once or twice a week. Hopefully this trend will continue, in which case I will happily follow up on this review. I would have loved to read a review like this long ago, so hopefully this will be of help to someone else out there suffering from a similar condition.

Works great but dispenser needs improvement.
This cream works fantastic. I had terrible scales, itching and redness on my elbows and knees. It took it completely away! It took about a month until I saw the results but it does work fantastic. The pump bottle however needs improvement. There was still a lot of product left in the bottle and nothing would come out of the pump. Luckily the top screws off so I was able to use a spoon to put the rest in a smaller container. If it were in a tube it would be much easier to dispense as you near the bottom of the container. This is the first product I have tried that actually works and took away all the scales redness and itching. I would highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from psoriasis on the knees and elbows.

Amazing Results
I have used this product for 5 days and it is amazing, I have tried steroid cream and too many other creams and lotions too name. Nothing has worked like this on my hands and my feet, I played in a golf tournament this weekend Friday Saturday and Sunday, usually my hands and feet would be a cracked peeling scaly painful mess from all the gripping and swinging of the club and walking. While there are a few red marks visible it is 99 percent better than the day before I started using the product. I wish I took a before picture but truly after everything I have tried before I was not expecting much. My wife and daughter are amazed at the results in just 5 days. Hope it works as well for you as it has for me. P.S. I usually do not write reviews but I know my psoriasis was painful and a pain to deal with, this is nothing short of miraculous results for me. Arrived open with lotion spilled
I’m hoping to love the product since I like all my other Cerave products but this one arrived busted open with a good portion of the lotion spilled inside the box and on my other products, The only way to get a replacement or refund is to box up this item and send it back, and since I don’t feel comfortable sending open, spilled lotion I don’t have any other recourse.

The product was OK, but the sticky tape was too short to wrap from the top to the bottom and the lotion oozed out upon arrival. Whoever does the packaging needs to be more careful.

This cream has worked wonders on my mild psoriasis, the rashes have been reduced and the itching is no longer a problem, however the first container was open inside the plastic bag it comes in, just as well as it was part of a package with several items in it, I returned it unopened and received a replacement very quickly, this one was fine and I thought it was just a one off, however I have since started to get this sent regularly and the container that arrived today was intact in the bag but the moment I opened the bag and lifted the container the large gray lid just fell off, as luck would have it the part with the cream in it only fell 3 inches and landed upright, please, all we are asking is tighten the lid before sealing the container in the bag, it’s a simple thing but it is also good quality control.Update 050522 the cream is still working really well, and i decided after finding that one container doesn’t quite last a month to up my order to 2 jars, in the meantime i found that my single jar was arriving well wrapped the top sealed down with tape and in a bag, however the first of my 2 jar orders arrived today and both were unsealed and just thrown into a box, needless to say both were open and the cream was everywhere, this stuff is not cheap and the reason that we have it on a monthly plan is that we need it, so the hassle of having to send it back and wait for a replacement to arrive and hope that it too isn’t smeared all over the box is a real pain in the ass, this is not rocket science people!!!

Wish the bottle was bigger
It costs more at CVS or Walgreens so it is worth it to get it here if it doesn’t come busted like our first one. The replacement came the next day in great condition and we sent the original back. Husband says it works good, he even puts it in his hair sometimes because of his scalp.

Needs better packaging
It’s my third time to order this product. I really like it, but it needs better packaging. The lotion spilled on the box. My suggestion, maybe used a smaller box to ship it in. I feel like I’m wasting money because of the irresponsible packing. That’s why I rated three stars, but don’t get me wrong, it’s a very effective moisturizer.

I love this product
This is great lotion for my psoriatic arthritis skin issues. My feet are no longer cracked and sore. My hands still need more help, but this is the best it has been in a very long time.I have one huge complaint. It’s about the packaging of the product. The lid was not screwed on at all and some of the lotion leaked into the box. The top fell off as I removed it from the box and a big dollop of the lotion dropped on my kitchen counter. There is tape on the top, but it did not come down over the sides of the container to keep the lid on. My first delivery of this product came very secure. I’m not sure who is responsible, the company selling this or Amazon, but this was a major error in shipping.

Excellent! Smooths rough skin.
I love that this has smoothed my rough and bumpy skin on my arms, butt and legs. My skin is so soft and smooth after just a few applications! So far I haven’t been out in the sun much, so I will be careful to use sunscreen if I use this product before swimming or spending a lot of time in the sun.

Good luck when it runs low!
This really helped with my itchy, peeling hands. When it finally started to really kick in, the pump bottle couldn’t reach the remaining cream at the bottom!!Now, I gotta stick a pencil show similar objects in the jar to try to get them out. Don’t think I’ll be buying this again unless they make the bottle thinner and the pump longer!!! Save your money cuz you’re not going to be able to get it all out.

Wow!
Not gonna lie, the first application was rough! I applied this to the patches of scales under my chin and down around and behind my ears and to my alarm it made them angry.. verrrry angry. That first night i itched and burned like the dickens and i woke up red and inflamed the next day. It was to the point where I thought I might be allergic and patch tested it (belatedly) on the clear skin on my arm. Well i wasn’t allergic so i chanced applying it again and it didn’t hurt the second time around or any time since then! In fact it’s cleared up everything except for a small patch of scale behind each ear and even those are much less inflamed than they would otherwise be. My theory is that i put on too much the first time and it left my skin too wet and the psoriasis absolutely doesn’t want to be damp for any extended period of time. I’m glad I gave it a second chance after that awful first impression and now I’m going to get some for my dad and see if it can make a dent on him where his patches are really thick and crusty.

Product is good, but packaging was shoddy
Lotion itself was good, what little of it we could use. The jar was not placed in any outer protective product, like a box or bag. The jar broke open in the shipping box and majority of lotion spilled into box. We scraped up what we could of the lotion & returned the broken jar for a refund.

Poorly designed dispenser, poor customer service
purchased CeraVe psoriasis moisturizing cream. It’s nice and seems to be helping. However the product container or product consistency is defective. I have at least half the product left and the pump is unable to reach the product as it’s stuck on the walls of container and the pump can only suck air. The opening of the container is too small to access the cream with my finger. So I have half a jar of cream that is inaccessible. Called manufacturer and they could do or would do nothing.very disappointed as I really like this overpriced product but can’t see paying that price for half a container of cream! Won’t buy again. Overpriced, poor container, poor customer service.

What a mess!
When I opened the package the lotion was all over the bubble wrap and box. I lost half of the lotion. Please find a way to make sure the container is secure. I’ll look around for it locally.

***PLEASE NOTE 1/4/18: Contacted Cerave on their website after problem with pump occurred with repeat purchase bc this product really helped me and I saw several reviews complaining about pump. They issued coupon for full price of product to replace.*** I never received the coupon from Cerave but this cream is worth the problems with the pump. I’ve continued to use it consistently since initial purchase in late 2017 instead of Cerave SA. My skin is much improved and it helps everything from psoriasis to ingrown hairs from waxing. Use with caution if you use other products containing AHA, BHA, retinols, etc, I have had some sensitivity. As my skin has improved, I have found the waxy feeling in this cream increasingly unpleasant. There seems to be no happy medium and this is by far the best I have found but that and the packaging could use improvement. Every single subsequent pump has malfunctioned when ½ full. A tube would be much better than opening the container constantly. PLEASE CERAVE FIX THE PACKAGING. Gold bond is now making SA 3% in a tube and I am going to try that next.Decided to try this new Psoriasis formula with addition of Cotton & Meadowfoam Seed and Niacinamide as per comparison chart above. I actually I prefer this formula. It has less of the soapy/waxy feeling than Cerave SA and a more moisturizing feel while absorbing very well for me. Virtually all creams & balms feel too greasy/sticky, too soapy/waxy, or not moisturizing enough. This seems to hit the right spot particularly for my hands, which are a wreck now. These Cerave formulas are the two best creams I have ever found for my difficult, hypersensitive, psoriatic skin, severely prone to hives, rashes, intolerant of many AHA/BHA formulas, etc. In better phases, eucerin also helps. Very glad I tried this despite my doubts that it could be significantly better than my go-to Cerave SA cream. Thanks Cerave — a multipack & purse size version would be great!!**December 18 getting more, don’t want to run out. Wish I could get multipack, or came in larger size. My pump works well and if it isn’t a miracle, it is the best product I have found for my difficult skin.

Great for those who suffer with Psoriasis!!
I love most CeraVe products because they are high quality without breaking the bank. However, they absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! My husband has severe psoriasis and while medication helps, he needs a product to soften his skin to keep it from cracking and causing pain. Over the years we have used aquaphor for this. He hated the greasy, icky feeling it left. When I saw this product, I was excited. Most similar products on the market, at least in the past, have been targeted towards eczema. Psoriasis and eczema are not the same condition and the products can not be used interchangeably. (At least that has been our experience) This is a GAME CHANGER! It moisturizes and heals the Psoriasis spots while not leaving a sticky or wet feeling on the skin. It soaks into the skin easily and does not sit on top like a lot of lotions do. My husband often said that other products would burn or hurt when he applied them to his face. This product does not do that at all. He says it is extremely soothing for his skin. To sum up, if you have psoriasis, buy this now!!

Kids popped open, lotion all over box
This is how I opened the packaging. Lotion all over the box. What a mess!! How do I get a refund when I threw out the box and the messy lotion already?! Should I get it back from my trash and do I return the same way then?

Definitely moisturizing
I have 50 something skin and was looking for a more cream lotion that might help my thinning dry skin. No smell at all. Loved that I could use my FSA account for this as well
